Accessibility

This page is intended to collect all accessibility-related content for Be-Con. We are committed to making this experience as accessible as possible to all individuals. If you have specific questions, need specific accommodations, or would like us to include information about specific issues, please contact Be-Con Staff.

Game Content

Whenever possible, game content will be available in both digital and printed format, and will be made available to the players as early as possible.

Game content will be clearly marked with content warnings as provided by the GMs.

Be-Con has default contact rules and safety mechanics to use in games, though some games may use something different if it is described in the game in advance.  See the Social Contract page for more information.

Sanctuary Space and Support

Be-Con will be offering a sanctuary space off the Ops room. This is a quieter space to process feelings and thoughts from your games, take a break from the hubub of the convention, or even simply rest. All members are welcome to sit and relax in this space as needed. The sanctuary space will be open during Ops hours.

The Be-Con safety team will also offer support on an as-needed basis. Whether you need a listening ear or to report a more serious problem, please contact the on-duty Safety officer by email safety@beconlarp.com or by visiting Ops.
